Android apk download? A few years back words like “roguelike” or “Metroidvania” would send me into a frothy frenzy. But to be honest games that trade on the elements of those descriptors have released in abundance in recent years, and the quality varies widely from game to game. So when people were buzzing over a new roguelike Metroidvania called Dead Cells that released on consoles and PC in 2018, I didn’t exactly go out of my way to check it out. I figured it was “just another one of those” games. Boy am I an idiot. Dead Cells is everything it’s cracked up to be and more, with truly skill-based gameplay and a nearly endless supply of items and abilities that change up the way you play each time. It’s easy to see why this is such a critical hit on other platforms, but what’s truly impressive is how with just a few tweaks the folks at Playdigious have brought a version of Dead Cells to iOS that plays phenomenally on the touchscreen, and actually fits into the bite-sized nature of mobile perfectly.
There are countless base designs available on the internet and building one of your own isn’t too hard. Deciding what you want to protect — trophies or resources — is the most important part. Beyond raiding other villages, one of the best ways to amass resources is to collect them. Gold mines, elixir pumps, and dark elixir drills are all available and can, depending on their level, produce a fair amount of resources.
Murder Mystery 2. This Roblox game is a very addictive arena battler with a murder mystery twist. After players have voted on which of a variety of imaginatively designed and nuanced maps they’d like to play on, they’re given one of three roles: innocent, sheriff, and murderer. The murderer and sheriff are the only armed characters, but, at the beginning of each round, both classes start with their weapons holstered and just as anonymous as the innocents. They therefore choose when to make their move, and a thrilling level of strategy ensues as you desperately study and suspect each member of the group to see who’s looking the shiftiest. As you’d expect, it’s up to the sheriff to protect the innocents from their unknown assailant, and they’ll get bonus points for each innocent they save. Chances are you’ll be one of this unfortunate number; the only class without any weaponry, innocents are forced to flee.
There was a ton of hype surrounding Call of Duty Mobile throughout the beta and ahead of it’s global launch, and to the credit of Activision and TiMi Studios (a subsidiary of Tencent Games) the game is phenomenal and has quickly become one of the best and most popular mobile games to be released in 2019. The only way CoD Mobile would work is if it felt like an authentic experience for CoD fans, and that’s exactly what you get. While the Call of Duty franchise has featured some really awesome single-player campaigns, CoD Mobile focuses exclusively on multiplayer and manages to hit it out of the park by delivering the exact style of action fans have come to know and love. Arsenal: Win by getting a kill with the golden knife, race to the golden knife by getting kills/assists. If you’re looking for some good old fashioned deathmatch style gameplay with a bit of a twist then this is a fun option to try out. You start out with a gun and every time you get a kill you are given a new one. The object is to go through all of the guns first and you will be crowned the victor! Counter-Strike had a similar game mode that used to be called Gun Game, but is now also called Arsenal. I enjoyed the standard mode of this game, but wasn’t really a fan of the Clown option that randomly turned people into clowns and you had to fend them off before the disease spread to everyone. It’s not a bad change of pace, but I preferred the vanilla mode.
